Risk of injury
All forms of exercise and physical exertion carry a risk of physical injury. This includes ballet. By enrolling in SBI classes you acknowledge that you are aware of the risk of injury. While SBI will take all reasonable precautions to provide classes in such a way as to minimise the risk of injury, no liability is assumed for injuries sustained at SBI classes or any related functions.

Cancellation by you and refunds
When you enrol for SBI classes (for full day, half day or day courses) we book a place for you at the barre. This means we make financial plans, engage teachers and may turn down other enrolments on the basis that you will be attending. To ensure the best possible classes for you the number of enrolments accepted per class may be limited.  Three payment options are available in order to secure your enrolment  and so as to enable SBI to secure the best possible teachers and venue for SBI. The three options available are as follows:
  1. Full payment upfront of the course fee for the Intensive you wish to attend; or
  2. Pay 50% of the course fee upfront and the remainder to be paid at least two weeks prior to the commencement date of the Intensive (if paying the remainder by PayPal or direct bank deposit); or
  3. Pay 50% of the course fee upfront and the remainder in cash on the morning of the first day of the Intensive that you are attending, prior to the commencement of class.
If however, after enrolment you are unable to attend your scheduled SBI course, you must provide SBI with notice in writing at least two weeks before the commencement of the SBI in which you were enrolled.  If the requisite notice is received, 50% of the enrolment fee will be refunded to you.  If cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to commencement of the SBI course and cancellation is due to a recognised medical condition or injury sustained within that period, then a refund may be granted as the discretion of the SBI organisers based upon sufficient evidence being provided to SBI.  In the event that this occurs, SBI is entitled to retained $50 of the enrolment fee paid to cover administration costs.  If the requisite notice is not received, your enrolment fee will be retained by SBI due to financial arrangements being made and potential other enrolments being turned down on the basis that you will be attending the Intensive in which you were enrolled.

Cancellation by us and refunds
In the event that SBI classes are cancelled, you may elect for either a full refund of enrollment fees paid or, if SBI is scheduled for a later date, to carry your enrolment fees over until the later date.
